Noûs/diripio

In Noûs/diripio, the trombonist interacts with all present, contributing to material created without regard for its adjacent segment. The progression of these disconnected environments opposes the human perceived, form-based separation known as duality. This nonlinear presentation values individual moments, highlighting interconnectivity. Special thanks is due to the SASHA Farm Sanctuary (Michigan) for making these recordings possible, and commissioner Juna Winston, whose unique musical voice undoubtedly informed this work.
